When the dispensation of law resumes, it will run a course of seven years to reach it's prophesied conclusion. The duration of this period is highlighted in the above two charts, and the one below. This seven year period is the 70th Week of Daniel's prophecy:

And he hath strengthened a covenant with many -- one week, and [in] the midst of the week he causeth sacrifice and present to cease, and by the wing of abominations he is making desolate, even till the consummation, and that which is determined is poured on the desolate one. - Daniel 9:27

This period is seven years long. It is divided into two parts: the first half of relative comfort, "peace and safety," or so they think, but that ends "in the middle of the week," when the Antichrist puts a stop to sacrifice and erects the abomination of desolation. From that point forward to the return of the Lord is a three and one half year period known as "the great tribulation."
It should be kept in mind that the 70th Week is the duration of time remaining for Israel under the Old Covenant. It is not an interchangable term with "The Great Tribulation," because the great tribulation is only the second half of the Week.
Here is the period highlighted in our Daniel chart:

A political figure will arise within the Revived Roman Empire--among it's ten leaders--subduing three of them and consolidating their power to elevate himself to the highest position. This man will allow Israel to resume her observance of Mosaic Law. This man, we have been warned of, is none other than the Antichrist figure you no doubt have heard about in discussions of end times events. We discuss him in more detail in our article "The Antichrist" below.
